Curriculum Priorities

Spellings (KS2): Delivering a structured spelling programme to secure accelerated progress from Key Stage 1.

Phonics (KS1): Supporting rapid progress in phonics through the Little Wandle (LW) programme.

Reading: Monitoring and strengthening reading provision so that all pupils make at least good progress.

Writing: Improving writing outcomes by developing pupils’ editing and self-improvement skills.

Mathematics (KS2): Reviewing and enhancing interventions to ensure strong progress and achievement in maths.
Attendance

Continuing to maintain high attendance across the school, while focusing on reducing persistent absenteeism in a small number of pupils, particularly those who are disadvantaged or vulnerable.
