A message following the Prime Minister’s address this evening
Dear Parents and Carers
I am sure you have all watched and listened to our Prime Minister’s address this evening. As yet we have not received any further information from the Department of Education but I expect to receive this tomorrow and will share this with you all.
We do know that schools will open after the Whit Holidays for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 but again the exact details have not yet been confirmed.
We understand that there will be parents/carers who are now expected to go to work as they cannot work from home and therefore if you need social care provision at school (9 - 3.30pm) please can you contact me ASAP so I can ensure we have the correct staffing in place. We currently do not have any children due in school tomorrow.
To remind you if your child needs social care provision at school, children do not need to wear their uniform but will need to bring lunch and drinks/snacks with them.
As always your support and understanding have been incredible at this time and we hope you are all safe and well.
Best wishes Nevin Deakin
