Reading Info
Good morning everyone. I hope you had a lovely weekend and had chance to relax.
Have you all signed up for the Summer Reading Challenge? If not, you can sign up anytime here: https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk
The following information is for KS2 children in years 3, 4, 5 & 6:
We now have a school account for Oxford Owl, so children can access some eBooks and resources from home over the next few weeks. An email will be sent out later to explain how to log in.
This week, your child’s class teacher will provide you with information to advise which book band colour is appropriate for your child. You can also browse books by age. This information will be shared via Seesaw.
Please note that we are treating the use of eBooks for KS2 as a trial period and we will review the success of an eBook system in preparation for more permanent plans in September.
Mrs Field is currently organising access to eBooks for Early Years and KS1 too and will share this information with you as soon as possible. Watch this space!
