Some information for Our Year 1 families.
Today we welcome some of Y1 back to school. To those of you returning, you may feel a little nervous - that is ok because things will feel a little bit new. If you are worried or unsure at any time - please speak to the adult leading your Year 1 bubble. This will not always be me, but we are all here for you, to ensure that you are learning and are comfortable in school.
Just to remind you, our year 1 bubble will be in the year 4 classroom.
To those of you that are continuing learning at home, my aim is to schedule activities that match those in school. Still there is no expectation of the amount you do at home, however I suggest that you do complete the activities from here on, in order as the daily activities will sometimes build upon each other. If you need more work than is posted, please refer to the activities on the class webpage.
This week, we are continuing to work through phonics sounds, in maths are focussing on fractions (halves and quarters) and our English focus is based upon the poem 'The Sound Collector' by Roger McGough.
