Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
This week we have welcomed back Year 6 as part of our phased return to school and they have grown up so much! School is beginning to sound ‘normal’ again and it’s been very reassuring after many months.
We know many children are still at home and we are missing you all. From Monday – only children NOT in school will begin to receive Seesaw work as otherwise some families are finding they are doing school work during the day and then Seesaw work at night, which we know is too much!
Despite the awful weather – we have had a ‘sporty’ week at school. Luke from Kickstart was in school working and completed some Sports Day activities with the children who were in and they enjoyed that greatly. Many thanks to Luke.
We have pleasure in introducing our new PE Provider – ASM sports who will be working at Marton from September, please see this info from Alex:
Hi Everyone! We are delighted to have been offered the opportunity to become the schools PE provider in the new academic year. Having already visited the school on two occasions recently, it is clear that we are going to be working in a fantastic environment with incredible outdoor spaces.
We are fully aware that you have a passion for PE/School Sport, which is music to our ears. The support which we will get from staff, pupils and parents will assist us in delivering a programme that will improve existing skills and also provide opportunities to participate in many new exciting activities.
We look forward to meeting you all at the picnic on September 01. We can't wait to get started!
