Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It has been wonderful to welcome all the children back to school this week. They have settled in so well and adapted to the new ‘changes’ around school with ease. Massive thanks to them for being so amazing! Special recognition for our very new children in reception and new pupils too. Already they feel part of our school family.
As a staff, we have greatly enjoyed being back to school routine and having some order to our day and we are all looking forward to the school year! I hope you have all enjoyed reading their messages on the school app and remind you to look at the website from Monday to see each teacher’s presentation and class information that you may find useful.
ASM, our new PE providers have started off the year so well too! We are so impressed by them and know all the children enjoyed their PE sessions this week. Please don’t forget ALL CHILDREN CAN WEAR PE KITS ON TUESDAY 8TH SEPT for our PE enrichment day with ASM!
We have welcomed Footprints to school and if you haven’t visited them in their new home and nursery building, I would urge you to join them on Saturday 5th September 11am – 1pm for their Open Morning. Please share this information with family, friends and neighbours too please.
MAD house @ Marton was launched this week and it’s a testament to Jess and Rachel just how wonderful this is! We are soooo thrilled that school have been able to take this provision on and delighted to welcome Jess and Rachel to Team Marton!
Today we held our first ever Zoom Celebration Assembly and we loved it! A great end to a wonderful first week back at school.
