Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Many thanks for supporting Macmillan Coffee morning. It was a pleasure to see everyone eating cake in their pyjamas during Celebration Zoom today! As always your support means so much and we raised £250.00!
This week we held interviews for Mrs Bedford who will be leaving us after half term. I am delighted to inform you all that after a very rigorous recruitment process, 82 people applied for the post and we interviewed several very experienced candidates. We have now appointed an admin officer who is experienced and currently working in a Cheshire East school. I know you will all join me in welcoming her to our staff. We will now start collecting to buy Mrs Bedford (Saaaaandra) some special leaving gifts so if you would like to send any donations in, please pop these in an envelope or pass them to me. Thank you so much.
On Monday we are looking forward to a very special French Day and children are welcome to come dressed in red, white and blue clothes in the spirit of all things French!
Please can we encourage all children to bring coats into school now the weather has begun to feel autumnal. Each day we still hope to go outside for some fresh air at playtimes and we want your children to be warm and cosy, thank you.
