I am sure you may have heard that one of our school Governors, Claire Brotherton has just given birth to a little boy. Whilst we all wish Claire and her family much joy, we now recognise that being Mum is more important at this time and we have therefore accepted Claire's decision to step down as a school governor. Many thanks Claire for your time and support as a parent governor.

This therefore creates a vacancy for a parent Governor to serve on the governing body of our school for four years. As a governing body we have a busy time ahead with the need to prepare for SIAMS - our faith inspection - which could happen at any time in the next 12 months and also to ensure that we are Ofsted ready, as our next inspection won’t be too far away. These are in addition to our ever increasing list of more “normal “tasks required to fulfil our remit as a school governing body. We would like someone with skills in buildings and facilities management, an understanding of the legal world and the availability to attend meetings (currently via Zoom) during the school day. A fuller role description will be available in the near future.
