Children's Termly Reports
By Friday you will receive your child’s termly report ready to discuss with class teachers at parents evening next week.
We can appreciate that you may read these reports and feel concerned at your child’s assessment, however we do want to remind all parents that children have missed a considerable amount of learning following school closure and all schools are concerned about this.
Each school is ‘narrowing these gaps’ in a variety of ways and at Marton we have a robust schedule of intervention work, pupil progress meetings, additional resources bought and engage in regular professional dialogue together so that children can begin to make rapid progress and outcomes for pupils remain good.
It was therefore very important for us to assess children straight away in September and then to assess again at the end of this term so we can discuss your child’s progress to date. We value the relationship with parents and look forward to meeting you all next week.
