Special dates and information for families
We are beginning to get very excited about Christmas at school, the countdown has begun!
I thought you would appreciate a reminder and some further information about what Christmas will ‘look like this year’ at school!
- 27th Nov Friday Mountain Chocolate collection, Christmas Tree arrives at school
- 29th First Sunday of Advent
- 30th Christmas Shop all week at school, this will take place in the hall. Information shared previously with parents and carers
- 30th – 4th Dec Angel Week; a chance to spread a little cheer by doing random acts of Christmas. All children have discussed this in class with teachers
- 2nd Dec Christmas lunch at school, delivered in boxes to bubble classrooms
- 4th Friday Mountain Jolly jars collection, Special visitor to school
- 11th Christmas jumper day (worn with uniform) and reindeer run for East Cheshire Hospice. Please send a donation to at least cover the cost of the antlers £1.00. 2pm F & F Christmas Raffle drawn at school.
- 15th & 16th Christmas party days – children to come dressed ready for parties please!
- 18th School closes for Christmas holidays
The post box will be available next week for children to post Christmas cards off to their friends (outside school by the Christmas tree) although we will only be delivering these cards on Mondays, this is so we have enough time to keep cards quarantined.
As we can’t gather together to do Christmas plays; special Key Stage Christmas videos will be loaded onto Seesaw or the website by the end of term for you all to enjoy. Watch this space!
