Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
We began the week looking ahead to the new term and ended Monday with closing the school! To say this week has been a whirlwind would be an understatement!
I have however been so blessed to work alongside staff who began remote learning in earnest, prepared school lunches and offered wrap around care, families who trusted us and supported us immediately, School Governors who valued every decision we have made and encouraged us and our AMAZING pupils who have continued to make us proud daily!
It's not been the back to school we expected but being Team Marton…it has still been the best!
Today we tried our whole school Zoom Celebration Assembly (with a little trepidation) and it was fantastic! We all loved seeing you at home and intend to do this every Friday at 11.45am. Zoom details are below. Please don’t forget to sign in as your child so we can identify you.
We are hoping to invite whole classes in for Zoom meetings so do watch the school jotter for information.
