Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It has been good to report that we have not had any further positive Covid Cases this week and everyone is starting to feel better. Key worker bubbles are returning to school and it is nice to see and hear children at school. We are all missing our pupils so much and looking forward to receiving news about schools reopening in the coming weeks. You will have heard information about schools hoping to reopen from 8th March and we all suspect this will be a phased approach but as yet I cannot confirm anything further.
Children who receive income based free school meals will once again receive supermarket vouchers for over the half term holiday and these will be issued before we finish next Friday for half term.
ASM are offering holiday childcare club during half term for children of key workers and they will be at school Monday – Wednesday if parents need this support. Please see their website for booking and details.
We hope you are all looking forward to our special Themed Week next week to support mental health and well-being, I know the staff have planned some very nice activities that we hope you will all enjoy! Do remember to take care of yourselves and each other.
Best wishes, Nevin
