Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
We hope you all enjoyed the half term holiday and rest and are now looking ahead to children returning to school on Monday 8th March. Staff have begun planning our Recovery Curriculum and we will provide you with further details about this next week.
Next week we are all excited about World Book Day and seeing all your ‘Book in a box’ creations. We have arranged a further special whole school Zoom on Thursday @ 11am where you are welcome to dress up for this assembly although this is not compulsory! Details are:

Mrs Sparey as Maths Lead has planned various activities to support CENSUS 21 and we will be delivering these on Monday 8th for World Maths Day. We are all looking forward to this day!
At the end of this school year, Mr Moss will be retiring and we are all very sad about this! Kelvin holds the school firmly in his heart and our safety in his hands and he will be greatly missed! We will be recruiting for a new caretaker for September in the coming weeks so if you know anyone who may be interested in joining Team Marton…do tell them to watch this space. Essential skills for this job are varied; no two days are even the same, but a willingness to understand that school is an aged building, enthusiasm for making school play props, constantly living in fear of glitter and a sense of humour are most welcome!
With best wishes for the weekend, Nevin
