Heads Up!
Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It has been a pleasure to see Year 6 wearing their Leaver's Hoodies in school, can you believe they are now approaching the end of their primary school education? I can vividly remember your children starting school! Many thanks to Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Woodmass for hosting Year 6 'SAT's Breakfast' this week. Although SATS are not taking part again this year due to Covid, we didn't want the children to miss out on this special delicious week!
As we begin to prepare for children leaving primary school, we also look ahead for welcoming new Reception children too. On Tuesday we will meet their parents via Zoom in the evening to talk about starting school, we are all very excited!
I am sorry to inform you that Marton Wakes is unable to go ahead again this year, Simon Wain and Team have discussed this and reached a conclusion that due to guidelines and restrictions, the Wakes will be unable to take place. We are all hopeful for 2022 now!
Mrs. Owen put a message on School Jotter for a boat and Redesmere sailing club have donated 'George' the topper (boat) . All for free. Huge thanks to them for their support!
Many thanks to Mrs. Field who conducted Parent's Surgery today, the date of the next meeting is Friday 25th June via Zoom.
We finish next Friday for half term holidays and wonderful ASM will be hosting Holiday Club please follow the link on their website to book.
Wishing you all a super weekend, Nevin
