Head's Up!18 June 2021 (by J Field (Year2)) |
Whilst we are all disappointed that ‘Freedom Day’ has been pushed back, I am delighted to tell you that we are intending to still hold Sports Day next week but this will be conducted internally with children in class bubbles and within Key Stages. Watch out for pictures on the School Website and/or Seesaw.
Schools are thinking of creative ways that we can still ensure children have such a positive time at school and next week I will attend the Town Sports Meeting to discuss how this event can continue whilst being mindful of regulations. I will share this information next week.
This week we welcomed our new reception children for their first transition visit …Wow! They were incredible! Hard to believe they are ready for school; it was a delight to meet them whilst they were having an Outside Transition Day. We are all now looking forward to Move Up Morning next week! Children are to go to their classes as usual first thing due to the staggered start time and we will move them into their new classes at 9.15am once the gates have closed.
Academy photographers were in school this week and your child will be bringing home copies of these today with details of how you can order them.
Have a super weekend, Nevin
