Hello All

Although we are not having a fete this year we have decided to hold a picnic on the school field weather permitting, on Sunday 25th July at Midday.  During which we will crown our Rose Queen and Oak King for the coming year.  

Our King and Queen are our representatives to other parishes and fetes throughout the year and we want to mark the beginning of their year as officially as possible, so we are inviting everyone to come to Marton School field on Sunday 25th and help celebrate the beginning of the new reign.

We thought a picnic would be a chance for a get together as well as being a nice way to celebrate our new King and Queen, we will hopefully have a little bit of background music on the go and possibly a game for a little bit of entertainment too.

Following the picnic we will hold our Fete Service at 6.30pm in Marton Church at which time the new king and queen will be officially welcomed into their roles.

Should the weather not be in our favour alternative arrangements will be publicised!

We hope as many as possible can come along and help us celebrate our new Rose Queen and Oak King being crowned.
