A bitter-sweet goodbye16 July 2021 (by Year6) |
Dear 6 parents and carers,
Well...we have reached the end of year 6 and the end of primary school for your children. It's been a strange and challenging 2 years but I'd like to say a massive thank you for all of your support. Your children have shone like the stars they are - keeping each others spirits up (and mine too!) and adapting to all the changes that the pandemic has brought with it.
I am so sad to say goodbye to Year 6 today but I know that they are all ready to fly the coop from their Marton family and that they have the resilience, determination and confidence to succeed in their next stage of education and all of the adventures which will follow.
I'm wishing so much success and happiness for all of Year 6 for today and the for the future. Thank you for trusting us to teach, help, love and guide your (not so) little people over the last 7 years.
