Weekly message from Mrs Deakin
It has been wonderful to have a full week at school and we have all enjoyed the routine this brings. It has been a pleasure to see children in their coloured House Team tops and we are excited about relaunching House Team points. ASM returned after the summer and children have really enjoyed their PE lessons with the sports coaches, please may we remind parents that jewellery/watches need to be removed prior to PE lessons and if earrings are worn a plaster needs to cover these, this is for children’s safety.
This week we practised coming into the hall for assembly and in the coming weeks will re-introduce these so we can all begin to ‘come together’ and share and celebrate the many successes at school.
Many thanks for your patience regarding pick up and drop off times and parking. We greatly appreciate your support in helping us keep children safe.
I am delighted to confirm our Annual Overview for Families with all the special dates for the school year has been emailed out to you and will also be uploaded to the website. We hope you enjoy reading this.
Many thanks to parents and carers for keeping us informed regarding Covid cases, this is really helpful. I attach a document for you produced for parents by NHS/DFE too.
Wishing you all a super weekend, Nevin Deakin
