Dear Parents and Carers 

We have arranged for all children to visit The Opera House in Buxton as part of our annual Christmas activities.  We will be watching Aladdin on Thursday 16^th December @ 10am. As all staff are attending, there will be no provision in school if your child is not going to the theatre.  

Children will need to come to school in their school uniform as usual and all children will require a packed lunch to eat when they return at midday.  Please order a lunch through ParentPay for this day if you would like the kitchen to provide one.  

We will be leaving school immediately at 9am and taking registers on buses on this day so we can arrive in time for the production. On this day, staff will meet children outside and direct them to buses. Please do make sure you are early for school on this day. Children at Mad House will be brought outside by staff. 

We are so lucky that because of your support Marton Friends and Family covers the annual cost of the transport so we are able to ask for theatre ticket payment only. 

Please complete the trip permission and payment on ParentPay to cover the cost of the ticket (£11.00) ASAP to enable us to confirm numbers with the theatre.  

Numbers of tickets are restricted so we do not think we will need parent helpers for this trip.

This is not a voluntary donation and funding is not available to cover the cost of this trip, we would ask you to contact the school office if you would like your child to attend but are unable to pay.  All discussions are confidential with the Headteacher or Bursar.
