Weekly message from Mrs Deakin
What a busy half term!
There has been much to celebrate and enjoy this week; managing the ever changing landscape as a result of Covid is at times challenging and we are all ready for a good rest. Covid rates in schools are rapidly rising and having a break at half term will be helpful.
Our week began on Sunday when Ethos Group supported Worship at Marton Church and talked about ‘No Outsiders’ we all felt so proud of them and the message they shared with our Church community. We have been excited to hear about the designs of the No Outsiders Poster Competition and details of this were shared with the whole school during our Zoom assembly today.
Our roof repair work is now complete and after the holidays scaffolding will be removed and school will look ‘normal’. We have appreciated your patience and support as we know this has had an impact on parking.
Parents Evenings take place on 8th and 10th November but with Covid rates continuing to rise we will be conducting these remotely. We have bought a new online package that is similar to what many high schools use and will send details of this after half term but would ask for your patience and understanding as this will be new.
Please don’t forget school returns on Tuesday 2nd November after half term and the first Friday back is our Outdoor Day. I will therefore conduct Parent Surgery on Thursday 4th November @ 9.10am this will be via Zoom and details are:
