Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It’s beginning to look (and sound) a lot like Christmas and we all love this!
Many preparations are underway and whilst we are being mindful of Covid measures; we want the children to have some ‘normality’ towards Christmas events. Please do remember all the special dates coming up before we finish for the holidays.
Termly reports will be sent home with children at the end of this term and we would like to thank all our children for their autumn work and assessments; they really have made returning to school such a pleasure.
Thank you for supporting our Friday Mountains, today was the last day and the amount of chocolate in school was such a treat! Well done to Yellow Team for collecting the most chocolate and winning the House Team points! Please don’t forget to return your raffle tickets as the Grand Raffle will be drawn on Friday 10th December.
Next Friday is Jingle Bell Jog day – children wear Christmas Jumpers with their school uniform (and warm coats) but will need trainers in school to take part in the jog; let’s hope the weather is kind to us all!
Wishing you a super weekend, Nevin Deakin
