Year 4 Robinwood update- Thursday 3rd Feb3 February 2022 (by Year5) |
Dear parents in Year 4,
I hope your children (and you!) are looking forward to the residential on Monday, we certainly can’t wait!
Unfortunately, we have just received notice of a positive case of Covid 19 in Year 4. Our usual advice would be to remain vigilant with regards to any symptoms and to inform the school of any positive cases. This is still the case, however due to the Year 4 children attending Robinwood next week, we would recommend that you test your child regularly between now and Monday morning. This is to support our Risk Assessment for the trip and also the centre’s Covid 19 Risk Assessment.
The children will be sat in dormitory groups on the coach on Monday in order to minimise the risk of infection. The staff and myself will be wearing face masks on the coach and if you would like your child to, then please supply them with a face mask for them to wear. This is not compulsory but is following good practice.
At the centre, we will maintain high standards of hygiene and masks will be worn by all adults when indoors and in close contact situations, such as harness tightening. If we are in an unfortunate position of your child developing any symptoms whilst at Robinwood, you will be contacted and asked to come and collect your child from Wrexham.
Thank you very much for your support in this tricky time.
Regards
Mr Marks
