Message for Families
We hope you have all enjoyed half term and kept safe and well. It was a pleasure to see the children return today.
Today's assembly theme was 'Some friendships do not last, but some friends are more loyal than brothers' Proverbs 18:24 and we sensitively discussed events in Ukraine. Our children were so well informed and had many comments regarding this. To summarize we all watched Newsround's Monday message as they have produced a special update about Ukraine. Presenters talk through what has happened so far and how it affects people in Ukraine and in the UK and is well worth a watch. We will continue to support children and offer them opportunities to talk if needed.
It's a special week ahead for Assemblies/Worship:
Tuesday is Miss Copestick's pancake assembly
Wednesday is Ash Wednesday Service with Rev Arch
Thursday is World Book Day
Friday is Celebration Assembly and Parents Surgery (9.10am in the Staff room, bacon rolls and hot drinks provided)
With best wishes for the half term
