Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
What a treat it has been to see everyone wearing something red today; including lipstick Not something I ever thought I would be writing in a ‘Heads Up’ message to you all! Thank you for supporting our wonderful School Council and their fundraising for Red Nose day. They have all loved selling red noses and have been so grown up each day.
I had the pleasure of visiting Year 6 at Robinwood this week and loved seeing them enjoying their residential so much. HUGE thanks to Mr Marks, Miss Byron and Mrs Woodmass for accompanying them and taking part in the activities – massive respect! Our children always behave so well and represent school admirably, thank you Year 6 for being such great ambassadors!
We’ve an exciting week ahead of us; with a visit from Bishop Sam on Monday and School Photo day on Wednesday, (please do make sure children are in full uniform please) Wednesday is also picnic lunch day at school so we are hoping for good weather too. Thursday is D.I.S.C.O day! How exciting to be able to take part in events like these again. Some of our younger children have never attended a school disco and so they are very excited. We’ll end the week with Sweetie Friday and do send children with pocket money to buy sweeties at afternoon break if you wish.
Please don’t forget to sign up for your child’s parents evening. Information was sent to all parents last week regarding this.
Mr Marks is celebrating a special birthday at Sunday – wishing him a fabulous day!
Have a super weekend, Nevin
