Apologies I’ve not been able to run netball for the last two weeks - Covid has finally caught up with me!
I just want to say a huge thank you to this year’s netballers, particularly our wonderful Y6s. This season was always going to be a challenge but every single player tried their best and I hope they’d all agree that they’ve learned a lot and improved? It was lovely to see our Martin team competing in the school league and tournaments and we even managed a win or two which is testament to the effort everyone put in.
Y6s I hope that you continue playing netball at secondary school and I look forward to hearing of your continued success. Y5s and Y4s you are the future of netball at Marton and I can’t wait to get started again in September and see how our new team can grow and improve.
If there are any more children who will be in Y5 and Y6 in September who would like to try netball please sign them up. We need a minimum of 7 players for a match and at the moment we’re not quite there so new players, including boys, would be most welcome.
Thanks as always to our Marton families for supporting your children and goodbye to those of you who I will no longer see at Marton.
