Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It has been a pleasure to welcome your children back to school this week, they have settled in so well to new routines and timetables. Everyone has looked super smart too, thank you.
We end the week with remembering Queen Elizabeth who died yesterday and acknowledged this in Worship today remembering her life and saying the prayer below which was sent to us from Chester Diocese. Rather than discuss her death, we will be celebrating her life and Worship/Assembly times next week will reflect this. We will provide prayer space if children want time to think and class teachers will plan sessions to support children. As we receive information from Cheshire East regarding the funeral I will pass this onto you. For now whilst we are in a period of mourning, school will remain open unless we are advised accordingly.
It was a pleasure to welcome so many Reception parents this morning at Parent Surgery. Many thanks to our Chair of Governors Sue Furness and to Mrs Owen and Mrs Woodmass who attended too. All dates of future parent surgeries are in the Overview of the School Year which has been emailed to you all this morning and is on the school website too.
Today information will be sent from Friends and Family for their 5p Fundraising challenge and we hope your children will enjoy doing this.
