Message from Rev Arch16 September 2022 (by headmarton) |
All members of our school family are invited to join with our Parish Churches in honouring the Queen.
There are books of condolence and remembrance in each church that all are welcome to visit and sign at any time. And all are welcome to join in our National Community Bell Ring on Monday from 10am. (No bell ringing experience necessary!) In the hour before the Queen's funeral bells will be tolling across the land.
Any from our school family are welcome to join in the ringing at the churches in Marton, Siddington, Eaton, Swettenham or Hulme Walfield. Instruction and assistance will be given as necessary, and the names of all those participating will be recorded in a permanent memorial in each church.
And for those wishing to join in Church worship this Sunday our services are as follows:
8.45am Siddington: Holy Communion and national thanksgiving
10.30am Eaton: Harvest and national thanksgiving (followed by bring and share lunch)
11.15am Marton: Community reflection and national thanksgiving
6.30pm: Swettenham: Harvest festival and national thanksgiving
All are welcome
The Revd Ian Arch
