We have made it!!
This has been a an incredibly busy half term and we have much to reflect and celebrate! We have welcomed so many new families to school, new children, new members of staff, new governors and even welcomed Ofsted! We launched our Community Pantry with great success and we have all really lived our school values. Think this just about means we are all ready for a r-e-s-t!
The 'Daily Read' was launched across the school where all children read for 20 minutes. This might be individually, with an adult or in a group. As usual the children have engaged with this amazingly well. If you can offer 20 minutes of your time in the mornings from 8.50am to 9.10am, then please contact Ms Field to arrange this.
Today’s special Sports Day has been wonderful and all thanks to Mr Stewart and ASM for planning such a busy active fun filled day! We hope all children enjoyed this.
We have also said Goodbye and Good luck to two much loved members of staff today; Mr Shaw (affectionately known as The Shaw) and Miss Clarke. They have been such a wonderful part of our team and it’s not goodbye at all but rather see you soon. We wish them and their families lots of love and luck for the future!
The new menu for Autumn/Winter is now live. Please make your choices via ParentPay.
We return to school on Monday 31st October for what is always my favourite half term, being part of a school family at Christmas is incredibly special and despite being in schools for 25 years, never ceases to make me smile and cry in equal measures!
Wishing you all a wonderful half term holiday and rest, Nevin
