Head’s Up!
Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Thank you all for your generous and creative Jolly Jars; they are amazing and such a delight to see. It was very close this week but the winning team this week was the Green Team who had a total of 44 jars filled with all sorts of goodies. Your support to our Christmas Fair has been incredible and we are ALL excited to be welcoming you to school for this next Friday. Please don’t forget school closes at 2pm on this day. This is so all staff can be fully involved at various stalls and be able to help. Please collect children from classrooms and make your way to the main entrance. A small fee is payable for adults but children are free to enter the fair. A small number of bus children are remaining at school and they will be located in Year 5 classroom till parents/buses collect at the end of the day. Please do remember there is no Mad House on Friday after school too.
Children have now begun rehearsing for Christmas performances and we look forward to welcoming you to watch and support them. Mulled wine and Mince pies will be available for a small donation too.
The ever popular Christmas Shop opens next week (every morning) and children were able to see what gifts they can buy in today’s assembly. HUGE thanks to Kate Johnston and her special elves for making Christmas Shop such a success!
Please don’t forget children are welcome to wear football kits/PE kits on Monday to support the launch of the World Cup too!
With best wishes, Nevin
