    Dear Parents of Pupils in Year 6

     

    Today we have received information about the changes to Key Stage 2 SATS that your children will participate in this year. This is to support the additional bank holiday in honour of the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III which will take place on Monday 8 May 2023. For primary schools this means SATS will take place Tuesday 9th May to Friday 12th May.

     

    • Tuesday 9 May: English grammar, punctuation and spelling (GPS) papers 1 (questions) and 2 (spelling)

    • Wednesday 10 May: English reading paper

    • Thursday 11 May: Mathematics papers 1 (arithmetic) and 2 (reasoning)

    • Friday 12 May: Mathematics paper 3 (reasoning)  

    Whilst we don’t envisage any problems with this change, please can you let us know if this is an issue for your family.
