Dear parents and carers of Year 2,

I hope that you all enjoyed the Christmas fair, it was a great event and such a brilliant fund raiser for our school.

This week we are really busy getting the children ready for the Christmas production. Please could I ask that if your child has lines then they try and learn them so they are able to not use a script on stage. We have had some costumes in already today, thank you. If you have not received a letter about costumes or would like to speak to me about them please do catch me on the door in the morning or after school.

We have our wonderful Christingle service tomorrow and the children have enjoyed making their Christingles with Year 5 today. Please could I request that all long hair is tied up for this service. 

On Thursday, Year 2 will be going to Eaton Bank for an additional PE session with their PE department. Please could your child wear a full Marton PE kit for this trip.

The children will also have their usual PE session on Friday.

Today, I have put up a board in the window by the door,  with all the events coming up this week. I will do this on a weekly basis to keep you updated but please bear in mind that things to change.
