School Update 19.01.2319 January 2023 (by headmarton) |

Dear All
Many thanks for your support today as we closed school.
This is never an easy decision to make and I liaise with a great many people before I make that decision. If buses feel it is unsafe to travel; this greatly supports my decision. You will feel reassured that I also liaise with a number of Headteachers in the local area and they too also made the decision to close. Keeping everyone safe is our priority.
Staff provided a range of online learning today including a Worship activity and I hope your children have all engaged in Seesaw activities. My thanks to the whole team for being so quick to respond and adapt and to Paul Sproson for being our school hero! Any school payments (lunches, Mad House) will be reimbursed to you.
As it stands I cannot predict the weather tomorrow or confirm if school will be open. If the weather deteriorates overnight, I will repeat the same procedure and inform you asap. I aim to let you all know by 7am.
We are hoping the sunshine continues to melt the snow making roads safe to travel along and looking forward to welcoming children back tomorrow.
Stay safe, Nevin Deakin
