Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Year 4’s residential to Robinwood is next week and all children and staff are very excited. Coaches will aim to leave just after 9am and although all arrangements have been confirmed they are also on the school website if you need them. Staff will regularly post updates on School Jotter and Twitter so please do check these forums regularly. We will use these methods to let you know children have arrived and their ETA on Wednesday back at school.
Valentine’s theme lunch takes place on Tuesday 14th Feb, please don’t forget to order your child’s lunch in the usual manner.
F & F discos take place on Thursday 16th Feb:
KS1 5.30 – 6.30pm
KS2 6.45 – 7.45pm
All welcome. Please note children are NOT to bring mobile phones to the disco. Thank you.
We are receiving many requests from parents needing support and advice and where possible will always try and help but hope you appreciate that we are educators first and foremost. We may therefore, signpost you to other professional parties so they can help. Our school nurse for example can offer advice regarding bed wetting, sleep and eating concerns. Local Churches can offer support for families needing food or financial assistance, SWANS counselling service can help with relationship problems. We launched our Community Pantry as we knew families needed some support and we wanted to help. Please do use this. If you are able to donate any items they would be gratefully received. Thank you in advance!
