Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

We’ve had a super ‘Inside Out’ day today and it was wonderful to hear children discussing feelings and emotions as part of the opportunities staff provided. It was the perfect way to end Marton Minds/Angel week. My angel has really looked after me and it has been such a beautiful week at school. I hope your children have all enjoyed this week and the fantastic ELSA and Well-being activities that were on offer.

This has been a very busy half term with much to share and celebrate and I hope you are all enjoying our Twitter posts. Each member of staff is aiming for at least 1 tweet per week so you can have a complete picture of ‘life at school’. We all look forward to celebrating birthdays at the end of the week and hope you enjoy this weekly photo online (if you have given us permission). Following a school holiday we will always celebrate holiday birthdays too; no one will ever miss out!

Next half term is a very short one but we’re planning lots...with RE trips, World Book Day and parents evenings too. I am adding some diary dates to the bottom of this week’s message to keep you all updated. We return to school on Monday 27^th February and although there is another National Strike on 28^th Feb, I can confirm again that school WILL be open as normal.
