I am delighted to inform you this weekend two very special children; George and Ethan Venables took part in their Aunt Emma’s 26 hours of non-stop exercise to raise money for two charities, the Christie’s and MPS society. The Christie’s cared for their awesome Dad (Andy) who received chemotherapy treatment at the hospital after he was diagnosed a year ago.
George and Ethan exercised alongside Emma for 7 of these hours to help keep her going and to help raise money. They both did:
5km walk
1 hour swim
1 hour ’sports day’
1 hour 5km cycle
1 hour 5km cycle
1 hour circuits boot camp
George then ran a 6km (and won the race) Ethan did an extra swim hour … how absolutely incredible!
We’d all like to support them further so there will be a charity bucket left at school reception for any loose change or you can use https://www.givewheel.com/fundraising/433/a-marathon-of-fitness/ to donate and help them all raise much needed funds. Emma and the boys would be so grateful.
