Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Today we held our annual Awards Assembly which is just the perfect way of celebrating the end of another school year. We want to celebrate all our children and it is always difficult for staff to only select several; our thanks and recognition for all children on a hugely successful year at school.
Special shout out to Year 6 and Mrs Wilson for exceptional SATS results this year, we are all SO proud!
We all enjoyed our Craftivism day on Wednesday and it was a delight to visit every classroom and take photos, we hope you enjoyed these on Twitter. I hope you are all looking forward to coming to school next Wednesday to purchase the children’s crafts; they are just lovely! Please do join us from 2.45pm and make your way to children’s classrooms to collect your children first. Weather permitting we will be outside but should it rain, all crafts will be on sale in the hall.
Next week is a pretty busy week:
- Tuck shop on sale every afternoon
- Ice cream man visits on Monday 17th (F & F are paying for everyone)
- Year 6 Leaver’s Lunch on Tuesday
- Leaver’s assembly @ 9.30am on Wednesday, Garden Party and Craftivism Market from 2.45pm, clothing drop off today
- Jolly jar day and own clothes day on Thursday
Please don’t forget all key dates are now on School Jotter and our website, parents have also received paper copies of 23/24 dates too. From September we will not be replying to emails asking for repeated information as this can be very time consuming. Please can we urge you to read the information that we have sent you instead, thank you. School finishes for Summer on Thursday and children return on Tuesday 5th September.
