It has been a pleasure to welcome all children back to school and to hear about their summer holidays. Thank you for supporting school uniform too; children look so smart!

We issued a list of all the school dates you would need for the year ahead before summer but thought you may need a reminder for the Autumn term. The calendar on School Jotter has also been updated for this term too.

• Tuesday 12^th Sept – Meet the Teacher evening, KS1 @ 4pm and KS2 4.30pm
• Thursday 14^th Sept – swimming starts for children in Year 4
• Friday 22^nd Sept – Jeans for Genes Day charity fundraiser – wear jeans with your uniform!
• Monday 25^th Sept – Friday 29^th Science week @ Marton
• Thursday 5^th & Friday 6^th Oct – Bikeability for Year 5 & 6, bring your bike to school
• Wednesday 18^th Oct – Harvest Festival
• Friday 20^th Oct – school closes @ 3.30pm for Half Term holidays

• Monday 30^th Oct – All children back to school
• Monday 6^th or Wednesday 8^th Nov - Parents Evening 1.30pm – 5pm.
• Thursday 9^th Nov to Wednesday 15^th Nov – Scholastic Book Fair @ school
• Wednesday 6^th Dec – Christmas lunch day
• Monday 11^th to Friday 15^th Dec – Christmas Shop week
• Monday 18^th Dec Termly reports sent to Parents & Carers, Marton Church service
• Tuesday 19^th Dec – Christmas performance day:
