Head’s Up! 

Weekly news from Mrs Deakin 

We have all LOVED Science week and hope your children have enjoyed each day and the special events that have been planned for them. Our trip to MOSI was just brilliant and we all had such a fantastic day, thank you to all helpers and staff and a MASSIVE thank you to Mr. Marks for organising a truly fantastic week at school. 

Special shout out to our Football team who played several matches this week and made us all proud.

 For those of you that don’t know Mr Stewart has now started his Paternity leave as he waits for the birth of his little baby. We are sending so much love to Ash and Jo and look forward to meeting Baby Stewart soon. Miss Copestick and Mrs Woodmass will support Year 5 whilst Mr Stewart is on PAT leave and he will keep in touch with us during his days off and aiming to return before we finish for Half Term. 

We are looking ahead to Bikeability next week for Years 5 and 6 and hope children are looking forward to this too. 

As most of you will know I currently support a number of schools and Headteachers and have been asked to support a school in Sandbach whilst their Headteacher is off sick. I can assure you I will still be very much at Marton and still contactable via all channels. 

Don’t forget we have ELSA Parent Surgery next Friday at 9.15am too, do come and join us.

Don’t forget to apply for Reception 2024 school places and encourage your friends to come and visit us too. We have spaces in some year groups and would love to welcome more families to Marton.
