Marton School have supported the supply of mosquito nets to communities in Uganda in the past, and this may be the last opportunity for us to do so in such a personal way. Would you like to help?
As you may know our school has friends in Uganda at Good Luck Primary School. Our relationship is facilitated by Gerry Hambridge who will be heading over to Uganda for the last time this February.
Gerry would like to take over mosquito nets to give to neighbouring families, and fight the spread of malaria that affects so many there.
Here is what Gerry told us… “I’m hoping that many people will make a donation to buy mosquito nets to deliver to the most vulnerable! Only £5 per net and just one net could protect several members of a family.”
If you would like to donate £5, please send this into school in an envelope with your childs name on and label it ‘Mosquito Net’ before Friday 2nd February.
Many thanks
