Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Marton Tidy Up Sunday was a great success. Thank you to everyone for giving up your time and helping to support school. It means so much.
Thank you so much to the children who have collected much needed funds for mosquito nets for our friends in Uganda. We know what a difference this will make to the lives of lots of people and would like to especially thank the 16 children who donated. You are so kind and thoughtful. Also a special shout out to Rocco in Year 2 who has received a certificate from Congleton in Bloom for helping with the tub planting in Congleton Park. Well done for representing our school!
Our year 4 children returned from Robinwood with super smiles and full of adventure stories and we all feel SO proud of everyone. Every single child took part in every single activity and that was a first for the staff at Robinwood. What an achievement!
Big thanks to Miss Clarke, Mrs Woodmass and Miss Heath for attending and joining in too. We've loved seeing all your pictures!
We finish next week for half term and want to give you advance notice for World Book Day which will take place on 7th March. Children are welcome to come dressed as a character from a favourite book but please don't go to any expense for costumes! The staff are dressing as characters from nursery rhymes and fairy stories. I can't wait to see what everyone wears!
Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend. Keep warm!
