It’s been a very special week at Marton with pancake tossing for Shrove Tuesday and everyone receiving ashes on Ash Wednesday and I think everyone is just about ready for the half term holidays!

Our Year 5 children were invited to watch the EBA matinee performance of ‘Fame’ this week and it was such a pleasure to hear that their behaviour was a credit to you as parents and school. Thank you Year 5 for representing Marton so beautifully.

 Please don’t forget it’s World Book Day on 7^th March and there’s a Big Clothes Event on Tuesday 12^th March to look forward to.

 The Spring term is always one that is really busy and your children have worked so hard. I hope you all enjoy the rest and we’ll look forward to welcoming you back to school on Monday 26^th February.
