    WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WEEK!!!!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Bishop Sam to school on Tuesday, he visited our school and met with Ethos group and we loved hearing about all his animals!

Thank you to KS1 Staff for delivering a great Phonics meeting for parents/carers on Tuesday and to all that were able to attend. Reception delivered a very special 'Mummy' assembly on Wednesday and made us all cry because it was so beautiful and...we ended the week dressed up as our favourite story characters, with the chance to buy and eat Wonka bars. It has felt the very best week all round and next week promises to be the same.

Next Friday (15th March) is Red Nose Day and once again our fantastic School Council have some exciting events planned to help raise money for this wonderful charity. Everyday next week, they will be selling red noses at break time priced at £2 each. We have a limited stock of these so be quick if you'd like one! On Friday afternoon, we will be holding FunFest 2! Last year's festival was such a success that it's returning this year, only it's bigger, redder and nosier. Children will have the opportunity to take part in various activities and most of all have fun.  We'd ask that you bring a donation of £1 or whatever you feel happy to give for entry to the festival.

Don't forget to join the Big Clothes event on Tuesday 12th March from 7pm too!

    Have a super weekend, Nevin

Diary Reminder: Parents Evening takes place at school on Monday 25th and Wednesday 27th March 1.30- 5.30pm

    Administration of Medicines in School

Antibiotics should not routinely be given in school. Three times a day antibiotics such as Amoxicillin can be given in the morning before school/setting and immediately after school (provided this is possible) and at bedtime.

If your child is on antibiotics four times a day then we are willing to give one dose at lunchtime in school, provided parents/carers have completed the medication form at school, this is to safeguard everyone.
