Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

On Saturday, some children had the opportunity to represent Marton at the Rotary Swimathon. We had 4 teams in total made up of a selection of children in year 1, 3, 5 as well as a team of ex Marton swimmers too. The children swam amazingly well and with great perseverance over the hour. We were cheered on by many parents and pupils which kept everyone going. The 4 teams managed to swim a combined number of 408 lengths and have raised £930 so far!! I was incredibly proud to be part of the swimming team with our awesome children and I believe F&F are already planning to do it all again next year. 

Thanks to the F&F team for organising the teams and orchestrating the children on the day...what I want to know is what's our next challenge?!!
