Part Time Carer, Grade 4, Term Time only

We have a vacancy for a carer to support a child with EBA to start asap. Epidermolysis bullosa acquisita (EBA) is an acquired, autoimmune subepidermal blistering disease and is very rare.

This vacancy would be to support a little girl who attends school on a part time basis (3 days one week, 2 days another week) for the hours of 8.30 – 3.30pm. The child is an utter delight; has a great sense of humour, an infectious personality and also needs intimate care.

Experience is not essential as Mum is willing to train a member of staff to support her so she can attend school. We are though looking for someone caring and thoughtful, able to build a positive relationship with the child and with Mum and who will enable her to reach her full potential at school.
