Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Our Year 6 conducted themselves beautifully this week for their SATS and we have all felt so proud of them. The whole school 'wrapped it's arms' around Year 6 and I'd like to thank the children, staff and parents for always being our biggest champions.
On Monday we are very excited to be welcoming the Ethos Group from St John's School to work with our Ethos group here. It will be a wonderful opportunity for the two schools and children to work together and we hope they all have a great day.
Today we have 'officially' said goodbye to Mr Stewart and presented him with leaving gifts of thanks. We will still have chance to see Mr Stewart as he will be arranging some sporting events for the two schools.
We finish next Friday for Half Term and I would like to remind you that Monday 3rd June is an INSET day and school will be closed. Children return on Tuesday 4th June.
As always, I will be issuing my Staffing letter after the half term holidays as I like to give children and parents much notice, it's all very exciting!
