Head's Up!
Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Please may I start with thanking you all for supporting parking at school and not entering the school car park unless previously agreed. This has made a significant difference at school.
It's been a very special week @ Marton as we have promoted Mental Health Awareness with children having a range of exciting activities. I hope your children have enjoyed telling you all about these at home. HUGE thanks to Mrs Woodmass for all the ELSA activities and crafts the children have completed this week. Our Year 6 launched this special week with a super assembly for Parents on Monday and did so well. Well done Year 6!
Years 5 and 6 have had their Bikeability sessions this week and I was so impressed to see their road safety bike skills on display, well done to the children for being so careful and so well behaved on their bikes.
We are all looking forward to Harvest Festival on Tuesday and do hope you can all join us. Please do send any donations into school so we can prepare the wonderful Harvest gathering in the hall ready for Tuesday.
Information about our annual post-Christmas theatre trip went live on ParentPay this week, please don’t forget to pay for this when you can.
Best wishes
Nevin Deakin
