    Heads Up

    18 October 2024 (by J Field (Year2))

    Head's Up!

    Weekly message from Mrs Deakin.

I would like to start my weekly message with a very proud 'Well Done' to everyone for our magnificent Harvest Festival this week.

It was  complete celebration of everything that is so wonderful about school I thought the children were just incredible! The Harvest donations demonstrated your generosity and kindness and there felt lots of love in the hall; it was a very special morning. Thank you so much.
I have been asked about Covid updates by some families and shared the NHS information with them. Please see below:
What to do if you have symptoms of COVID-19
Try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people if you or your child have symptoms and either:
    • have a high temperature
    • do not feel well enough to go to work, school, childcare, or do your normal activities, You can go back to your normal activities when you feel better or do not have a high temperature.
If your child has mild symptoms such as a runny nose, sore throat or mild cough, and they feel well enough, they can go to school or childcare.

Attendance is a National priority and something we take seriously at school, we do share attendance concerns with relevant Safeguarding professionals to seek their advice when needed too.

Please don't forget F & F school disco next Thursday too.

From Monday our wonderful Head Boy and Head Girl will be selling poppies for the Poppy Appeal, children are welcome to bring in money to buy these.

Have a great weekend, Nevin Deakin
