Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
We have officially mentioned the C word this week and I have heard whisperings of rehearsals and spotted some costumes around school which is causing great excitement. Today the Christmas trees have been erected and Sunday marks the start of Advent.
Next Friday's Celebration Worship will be a little different as children will have the chance for a 'sneak peek' of all the gifts available in the magnificent Christmas shop which takes place from Monday 9th December in The Meadow. We are so blessed to have such a fantastic Friends and Family Team who are committed to doing wonderful things for children.
Next week we have our Christmas lunch to look forward to and we are all ready for this. Rachel our amazing cook does an incredible job and it is always an occasion to remember. As you will know from January we will take over the catering at school and I hope you will all support us and encourage children to have hot school dinners. The menu will be very different indeed with lots of theme days to look forward to.
Year 4 will be leading our Christingle service next Thursday at school, do come along and support them.
