9th January Remote Learning Information

Good morning Year 5.

This morning, I have set tasks on Emile for you to complete for your remote learning today. You have your login details in your homework diary. These tasks include:

• A spelling task linked to your spelling rule for this week (ie)
• A SPaG task with a ‘prefixes’ focus
• A maths task to practice multiplying a 4 digit number by a 1 digit number
• Read at least one chapter of the book you are currently reading (this is not on Emile)

I have also set two class battles, where you will complete against each other! The battles are for spellings and times tables.

• https://mathsbot.com/starters/quickQuestions - This will take you to a page on MathsBot so you can design your own maths quick questions game.
• https://quickdraw.withgoogle.com/ - This is a fun AI experiment launched by Google. Enjoy doodling to get the network to guess your drawing.

Please remember that Emile is open ended, so if you wish to complete more tasks than those I have set, you can explore the games and activities on the app.
