    Weekly news from Mrs Deakin

Today you will all have received our Parents’ Charter which I hope you will enjoy reading. This is part of our commitment to maintaining our Vision and to seek your support in doing so. In the next few weeks we will be relaunching Parents Surgeries so we can have time to seek your ideas and involve you all further in school life; please do join us!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Rev Sue Edwards and Nick from All Saints Church to conduct Worship this week and last Sunday some of our wonderful children and Miss Copestick took part in the Plough Service at Swettenham Church. They were all great ambassadors for school and we received several complimentary emails and messages about them, thank you so much.

The Play Patch @ lunchtime continues to create much fun and this week we’ve played Giant Dominoes, Monopoly and ‘Play Your Cards Right’ along with many other games and activities. Watch this space for Mr Marks’ special club as I think this will cause great excitement and fun!

This week has been … pretty ‘delicious’! Rachel did an excellent day for us all yesterday as we celebrated Chinese New Year and the Year of the Snake. We all enjoyed reading our Fortune Cookies and they made us laugh. Today F & F have sold their scrummy cupcakes and not only did they look amazing but they tasted gorgeous too. Thank you all for supporting school.

Don’t forget Little Seeds will take place on Wednesday 5th Feb with Reception Parents lunch happening on this day too. We are also looking forward to welcoming Year 2 Parents on Thursday for Year 2 class assembly.

Best wishes for the weekend, Nevin Deakin
